West Coast Meet 2023

There are so many events and activities planned for the Very Brady West Coast Meet that we couldn’t include all of them. Here are the major events. This schedule is subject to change and is our current “best guess” of the daily activities schedule.

Rates expire 5/15/2023. You must be registered for the West Coast Meet to maintain your hotel reservation after that date.

Each registrant can enter one or more cars for display at the show. You will enter your vehicle during the registration process.

Cars not being displayed in the Car Show should be moved out of show areas on Friday evening. See the parking map in your registration packet and avoid areas marked by signs for the show.

Trucks and trailers should be parked in designated parking areas. Please inquire with the registration desk when you arrive at the event.

No Brady West Coast Meet will be complete without mementos. Included in full packages are an event program, a pin and more. 

The event shirt offers two groovy choices: A cotton blend shirt with WCM theme artwork OR a tech shirt where you can upload your Brady type head shot and be part of the artwork. A WCM Brady exclusive!

There are several factors behind this:

1. Hotel, food, and subcontractor cost increases - Every quote we got back this year was larger than in the past. It’s not clear if it's just inflation or the 3-year effects of pent up demand for leisure and hospitality.

2. Enhanced venues - In order to safely conduct the Greg vs. Marcia Driving Contest, we had to find a location with lots of space and a large paved area. After much searching, we were able to find such a venue. The Driving Tour/Driving Contest is going to be an amazing experience. A hot, cooked on site lunch will be served at a historic location, with the fun-filled Driving Contest immediately following. On Saturday, the CARnival (including lunch) is going to be hosted in a large tent located in the show field, complete with misters in case of warm weather. We feel it will allow a better space for attendees to rest during the show, enjoy lunch and visiting with friends, and play some crazy CARnival games.

3. Enhanced experiences - We have many surprises in store in terms of decorations, CARnival games including a dunk tank, the complimentary Drive Tour photo, etc. which we hope will help immerse everyone (well, at least Alice and Bobby) in the event.

Friday – Dress up as Alice Nelson (the Brady’s live-in maid) for Alice night!

Saturday – Dress in your favorite Hawaiian garb as your favorite Brady character, Vincent Price, or a haunted Tiki! Let your imagination run wild!

The 24-person capacity for the Thursday winery and shopping tour is based on use of two 12-person luxury vans. If the Thursday event is sold out, please register for the “Very Brady West Coast Meet” package instead and email Robert Supalla (rlws@juno.com) and let him know you are interested in the Thursday tour. He will place you on a wait list.

The average high temperature in Atascadero in June is 81 degrees. The average low temperature in June is 55 degrees. If you are going on the Thursday winery and shopping tour, Cambria could be 20 degrees cooler, as it is near the coast.

The San Luis Obispo Street Fair & Farmers' Market is held each Thursday starting at 6 pm. San Luis Obispo is an approximate 35-minute drive from Atascadero. There are farm stands where you can buy fresh produce, a variety of food vendors, and entertainment. The nearby streets also have a large number of sit-down restaurants for a nicer meal. San Luis Obispo is a college town, so there is lots of eye candy! See the link below for more information.
