Coachella Motorwerks. We meet behind the building, it is the same building as Stepping Stones
Coachella Motorwerks in Palm Springs monthly cruise the second Sunday of each month (excludes summer months).
Sunday, December 11th Great Autos goes "Robo". RoboLights that is. Many of you may be familiar with the wacky and amazing "art amusement park" installation that is unique to Palm Springs. Towering robots, dinosaurs and Santa that are covered with lights became a local holiday tradition, all built on a private estate. Unfortunately due to crowds, parking and "saftey" issues the city shut down the exhibit to the public a few years ago.
We have arraigned for a special tour for our club members and friends Sunday at 10am. That‘s right, DURING THE DAY! If you have visited before in the evening, you will get a much different perspective with out the lights, in the daytime.
Artist / creator Kenny Irwin will be on hand and there is even a small gallery to purchase some of his small works. We are asking for a $10 donation for the tour. Don‘t miss this rare oppertunity to see this local landmark during the day.
