Join your Great Autos friends for a cruise up the coast to the beautiful Santa Barbara wine country for V8s in the Vines!    The event will kick off at Hook’d Bar & Grill on Lake Cachuma at 10:30am where we will enjoy a Santa Maria BBQ Brunch with views the Las Padres National Forest.  After our delicious brunch we will cruise together down the San Marcos Pass and through Foxen Canyon to Zaca Mesa Winery. 

Zaca Mesa has organized a wonderful event for us.  We will park our cars in the picturesque Viognier Vineyard and a enjoy the afternoon at their property along with a flight a wine amongst the cars and vines! The Sommelier will guide us threw the flight and we will get a chance to fully experience what makes this area such a great wine region. 

Should you want to make a weekend of the trip, we’d suggest staying at Anderson Pea Soup Inn in Buellton, or there are several other hotel options at varying price points to choose from.   All hotels are within walking distance of the Firestone Brewery where we can reconvene for dinner and more fun. 

The Zaca Mesa event is $83 per person and deadline to register is June 27th^.  Brunch is not hosted, but Hook’d Bar and Grill is a fast casual setup where you order at the counter, get a number & go enjoy the beautiful views.  The winery will offer secure overnight parking in their gated lot for those who would prefer to leave their car there after the event.  Should you need help securing a ride to the hotel, please reach out to the organizer. He will attempt to find you a ride with someone.  There is also Taxi Service in the area.  An air-conditioned Club Room will be available for us should the weather not be suitable for an outdoor event.  So come join us along the beautiful backroads of Santa Barbara County & enjoy some great food, wine, friends, and cars!  V8 engine not required.
